Abergavenny Food Festival is the biggest and best-loved food festival in Wales. Established in 1999, it was set up to celebrate the craft, diversity and culture of food from across the country. The award winning festival now exhibits over 200 of the finest food and drink producers, a variety of expert demonstrations and a line-up of outstanding and well-known chefs, welcoming over 30,000 visitors to the beautiful market town each year.

The Festival is embedded in the centre of the town, so there’s unique sense of place which makes the event really special. Never been before? Then do join us this September and discover its particular magic for yourself.

Come rain or shine around two hundred exhibitors will set up shop in the five market venues and central streets. Take a leisurely stroll. Get talking to our producers. They’re passionate about what they make and how they make it. There’s an unparalleled range of food and drink on offer.

The Chepstow Arts and Community Festival is a month long celebration of theatre, music and creativity in the town. With over 60 events being staged by a wide range of community groups. Planning for this years (2016) Festival is underway and the first full Festival meeting will be on 2nd March at 7:30 PM in the council chamber, Gatehouse, High Street, Chepstow.

As the programme develops it will be shown on the website with all details and events being finalised in early May.

The Festival will culminate on 24 July with a 200th anniversary celebration of the opening of Chepstow's historic Cast iron bridge.

This summer there are 13 exciting theatre productions in Chepstow Castle by Britain's top professional touring open-air theatre companies. Since 2012 we have had the benefit of the audience cover which keeps audiences of over 250 dry in the event of rain.
